Refunds

Payments are upfront. I'll work on the rough sketch after I receive your payment.

PayPal Fee

Prices have been adjusted to reflect PayPal's fee increase (4.99% + $0.49 for international invoicing). This fee is already factored in the base price.

Complexity Fee

I can handle great amounts of detail to an extent, but there will be a fee for complex/intricate character/prop designs. I'll let you know if this applies to you before sending the invoice. This is capped at $15 and is charged per character.

For Sketch Commissions

There will be no complexity fee but designs will be simplified to an extent, so complex or intricate detailing (i.e. laces, filigree, etc.) on outfits/armor/weapons may be lost.

Refunds

Refunds for canceled commissions depend on the current progress stage. No refunds will be made once the commission is completed and finalized.

Revisions &
Fixes

I am open to revisions, but any heavy changes after the sketch stage may delay your commission further, so please make sure you're happy with the rough sketch before giving me the all-clear to continue.

Revision Fees
  • Revisions for mistakes on my end are completely free of charge.
  • Revisions for major reworks (e.g. you want to change the whole outfit in the middle of the process) due to unclear details or sudden change of mind will incur a fee of 10% of the total price.
Post-completion Revisions

Any changes made after the commission has been completed and finalized will incur a fee of 15% of the total price. A commission is considered completed and finalized once you tell me that it's done and no longer requires revisions at the very end of the process.

Here's a table you can use as a guide for approximate ETDs, but these can be shorter or longer depending on the style, complexity, response time, number of revisions, and other factors. I'll let you know if there will be any delays due to emergencies or personal affairs.

Updates

Update emails will be sent during the weekend of the same week I finish an update, but I may also send them on the same day in case I go off-schedule. Low-res watermarked previews will also be posted to your card on Trello as soon as it's finished, so feel free to check my board in case I couldn't email you immediately.

Trello Cards

I create cards for each separate commission with your email / preferred name / Twitter or Tumblr handle (whichever you prefer), commission details, and low-res watermarked previews for task tracking and transparency on my Trello board. However, if you prefer to not have all or specific info there for whatever reason, just let me know!

Deadlines

Please don't ask me to rush your commission all of a sudden. If you have a deadline in mind, please inform me in advance! There will be a fee if you want a rushed turnaround and the amount will vary based on the timeframe, style, and complexity. However, I have to decline deadlines shorter than a month for flats and rendered commissions due to my circumstances.

Image Rights
& Usage

  • All commissions will be used as a part of my portfolio, so please let me know if you wish to keep it private.
  • Commissions are for personal non-commercial use only.
  • I have the right to the image, its distribution, and its use. However, rest assured that I will not sell any prints or merchandise from any commissioned works.
  • I have the right to refuse a commission if you don't follow any of my terms.
Allowed
  • Cropping your commissioned pieces for avatar/icon use only.
  • Printing your commissioned pieces for personal use only.
  • Posting the finished piece on other sites (Toyhouse, Twitter, etc.), but my signature/watermark must be retained. I'd appreciate it if you could tag/mention me, too!
Not Allowed
  • Using any commissioned pieces for commercial work. If you wish to do so, you have to inform me in advance as the cost will be different.
  • Claiming any commissioned pieces as yours, as in the artwork itself.
  • Reselling any commission(s) received from me with a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) or through any form of cryptocurrency. I will never resell/repurpose your commission piece(s) with Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs).
